Following its European showcase at Cannes, Momentum continued its international boat show presence at the Southampton International Boat Show 2025, where the U2 electric outboard was presented for the first time alongside the flagship M10.
Joining UK distributor Adventure Marine Ltd – Electric Outboard UK, Momentum showcased its electric propulsion solutions to a broad marine audience spanning tender owners, small yacht users, sailing enthusiasts, rowing clubs, and family boaters. The show provided valuable insight into how different boating segments are increasingly responding to the appeal of lightweight, quiet, and user-friendly electric outboards.
At Adventure Marine’s stand, the 2.5kW Momentum U2 attracted strong interest from visitors comparing products in person. Hands-on demonstrations allowed attendees to experience the product directly, generating useful feedback and reinforcing the appeal of key features such as the easy-swappable battery system and multi-position tiller.

Those interactions also highlighted one of the U2’s greatest strengths: portability. With a total system weight of just 17kg—8kg for the battery and 9kg for the motor—the U2 stood out as a highly manageable solution for tenders, dinghies, and compact recreational boats. Visitors responded positively to its combination of light weight, practical endurance, and usable thrust, particularly when compared with smaller 1kW electric outboards, which can be more limited in stronger currents.
Momentum’s M10 electric outboard also maintained a strong presence throughout the show, appearing on multiple boats including the Rebel Raider 360 at the eSolent stand, the BoatWorld Cruiser 380, and the Excel Volaire 390. This visibility across several boat brands was an encouraging sign of growing confidence in the M10 as a premium electric propulsion option for modern tenders and small craft.

The U2 was also displayed with the Ezraft, highlighting an especially compelling pairing for a truly portable electric boating package.
Momentum was equally pleased to see Adventure Marine Ltd awarded 3rd place in the Environmental Award at Southampton. The recognition reflects the distributor’s commitment to sustainability, electric mobility, and environmental stewardship, including ongoing clean-up initiatives during on-water product testing.

Momentum’s presence at Southampton International Boat Show 2025 reinforced growing market interest in portable electric outboards, lightweight electric propulsion systems, and practical low-emission solutions for small craft. With the U2 making a strong first impression and the M10 featured across multiple respected boat brands, the show marked another positive step in Momentum’s continued growth.
Momentum looks forward to returning to Southampton with new innovations and an expanding range of electric propulsion solutions for modern boaters.
